Caitlynn Barrett
Artist Bio
Caitlynn Barrett is currently studying scenic design & painting in the SUNY New Paltz Theatre Department’s Design & Technology program. She transferred there last year after studying directing and acting at SUNY Ulster. Before college, Caitlynn took classes in drawing and painting as well as sculpture at The Woodstock School of Art. She plans to graduate from SUNY New Paltz in two years and hopefully continue on to graduate school so she can continue learning and making progress toward a career in what she loves to do.
Caitlynn is currently the resident props master at The Shadowland Theatre in Ellenville, NY and will be co-designing their set of The Whipping Man by Matthew Lopez with her colleague Eli Reid, this October.
