I’ve been taking pictures since I was a kid and have always wanted to be an artist. It wasn’t until high school that I really found my medium. I started doing digital photography in 2005 and then in 2008 started doing photoshoots by working with my friends, then local models. I have been freelancing since then as C3 Photography. In 2011, I started shooting concerts and now have shot for various publications like New Noise, Metal Riot, Dying Scene, and Spacelab and continue to have my work with models published in magazines like Cynical Fashion, Xpressions, Tattooed Time Bomb, Wild Heart and more. I’ve been published close to three hundred times now in online magazines, print magazines, newspapers, books, album covers, fliers, posters, etc. I’ve had my work shown in six art galleries.

I’ve shot many local freelance models over the years and a lot of big well-known bands like Stone Temple Pilots, Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Papa Roach, Coheed and Cambria, Rob Zombie, Sevendust, Buckcherry, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, Neon Trees, and more.

I ultimately love capturing people whether it be doing something creative in a photoshoot with a model or taking live action shots of a band at a concert. I use my time to do photography mostly but made more time for painting which is something I enjoy as well but never seem to have time for. Being ultimately inspired by people and symbols, my paintings would be portraits inspired by artists like Frida Kahlo, Sylvia Ji, and Karyn Crisis. All of which focus primarily on the female form and use females or oneself as the subject matter to convey a strong message whether it be pain, fear, strength, or beauty.
