I Graduated from Cooper Union and went on to study Theater Design at Columbia University. Worked as a textile designer for a while. After working for several years in summer stock and off Broadway, I joined The United Scenic Artist Local 829. I’ve designed for well over 50 productions, operas from ‘Don Giovanni’ to The HMS Pinafore, along with musical and straight plays. Working as a scenic artist has meant working in many styles which has influenced my work from representational to abstraction, as easily seen in my paintings. I Designed for the 2013 season at The Woodstock Playhouse. ‘Les Miz’ and ‘Fiddler on the Roof.’ Specialized in children’s portraits for a while and converted small treasured old and white photos into large oil paintings.
