Artist’s Statement

My name is Mel Audette-Diaz. I am a sixteen-year-old artist from Highland, New York. I am fascinated by emotions, how they are interpreted or expressed in art, and the effect they have on people. Therefore most of my pieces express this interest in one way or another. Each piece has a story and a special place in my heart.

I invite you to interpret them as it suits you and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
