Made from pure pigment, safflower oil and high quality mineral wax, Sennelier Oil Sticks are designed for uninhibited application of oil paint directly to the painting surface. Use for quick sketching or complete works of art. Made to the same exacting standards as Sennelier Artists' Oils, these sticks are a great complement to traditional and contemporary techniques. Like regular oil paint, they can be diluted with turpentine and dry to a hard film. Before use, surface film should be removed. This latter will re-form after a few days of non-use.
