Hot Cakes are ready-to-use encaustic wax paints inside convenient metal tins. The encaustic colors are made from quality pigments, the finest damar resin and United States Pharmaceutical Grade (USP) refined natural beeswax. The metal tins are designed so that the artist can pop the tin full of wax paint onto their hot palette. After about 20 minutes at 150-175 , the paint will be melted and ready to use! The metal tin is reusable and even comes with a handy lid to keep paint dust-free during storage.
