Artist Eugene Stetz

Stetz is a self-taught mixed media artist based out of Kingston, NY

Stetz was born into a family of perpetual travel having moved from one place to the next living out of, in, and on the four C’s since birth: campgrounds, couches, cars, and casinos. This life of constant travel has given him an endless source of inspiration, opening him up to all forms of art, even some he wasn't aware of at the time.

In his youth, Stetz had developed a speech impediment. Not being able to fully utilize his voice as an expressive outlet it was his aunt, a painter and teacher of traditional arts at university, who introduced him to the paintbrush shortly before she had passed away. Immediately realizing the pen and brush are a much stronger voice Stetz had begun scribbling on anything in his path.

Carrying a marker with him everywhere he went since the age of 5 would enable him to draw on just about everything from car windows, to the back of paintings in hotel rooms, to bus benches, all just to kill boredom. Unaware that what he was doing would later lead him into a life of illustration, design, publication, photography, videography, graffiti, fine arts, and street expression, Stetz received his BFA in 2013

Over the years Stetz has developed a fast and loose painting style that was moulded by the traditional arts and refined in the dark of night utilizing the quickness of the spray paint can.

This love for creating public works of art has given much momentum to the lifestyle of perpetual travel allowing Stetz to show artworks and paint murals on an international level along with collaborating with various artist.

Artist Annabelle Popa

Annabelle Popa has a BFA in Illustration from the Parsons School of Design. Annabelle has a passion for animals and storytelling, specifically folklore and myths. She combines these elements to push past reality and uses fantastical creatures and mythic worlds to communicate overarching themes that may be understood and internalized by all. She has recently shifted her focus to public artwork and murals to re-connect with the community and learn values that are unreachable when alone in the studio. She hopes to spread elements of wonder and mysticism, and to encourage the viewer to see the world in a new, curious, child-like sense.

Music by Sabrina and the Gems

After giving live performance of poetry while standing on a rock in front of hundreds of people at a large private event, Rennie approached me and asked if I'd want to do some poetry as his band played music. I agreed and after our first collaboration at the Landau in Woodstock, NY, I was then a special guest for poetry with the hottest blues band in town: Rennie Cantine and Band every Friday night at the Lodge . As time went on, I returned to my love of singing and playing music. Rennie and I rehearsed several times a week for a few years in addition to playing over 500 gigs together. We've written dozens of new songs and are recording an album at Applehead Studios with Sean Tarleton, Mike Colletti and Mike Minervini. We're looking forward to the road ahead!
